From wooden toys to wellness

Hi, I’m Bethany — the heart and hands behind Wanderlust Wellness. If you’ve followed me from my days as the maker behind Sunshine and Pine, welcome back. If you’re just finding me now, I’m so glad you’re here.

For nearly a decade, I poured my soul into handcrafted wooden toys. What started with a simple pastel rainbow arch made from pine and love turned into a whirlwind I never expected. A blogger’s shoutout led to a flood of orders, and before I knew it, Sunshine and Pine became a cherished name in many homes. Each toy was hand-cut, sanded smooth, painted with purpose, and wrapped with care. It was beautiful. It was magical. And it was also… exhausting.

Behind the scenes, I was fighting battles most people never saw — with my health, my energy, my body, and my mental well-being. I’m a mother of five, a cancer warrior, someone who’s endured the weight of trauma and the slow climb of healing. As much as I loved creating, my body was asking me to shift. To soften. To come home to myself.

That’s when the whispers of Wanderlust Wellness began.

This new space is more than just a shop. It’s the culmination of years spent learning how to heal — not just on the surface, but deep in the soul. Through metaphysical studies, herbal wisdom, and spiritual exploration, I began to understand wellness as a return to wholeness. I wanted to create a space that honored that truth.

Wanderlust Wellness is where self-care meets soul care.
It’s where bath soaks become rituals. 
Where herbs are more than ingredients — they’re allies.
Where stories, science, and spirit all hold hands.

This isn’t just a business for me. It’s a calling.
